MOTORHOMES & CAMPER VANS

On the road

The first spring outings are coming! Get your motorhome ready...

After winter, it's time to get your motorhome ready for the next outing.

Winter and the cold are sensitive times for vehicles, and it's important to take good care of your motorhome. You've certainly taken the time to winterize your vehicle.

A few tips before your first motorhome trip.

With the warm weather on its way, and the desire to discover faraway lands making itself felt, it's time to prepare your motorhome for new outings.

  • First of all, check the condition of your gas cylinders.
  • Before winter sets in, you'll probably have cleaned out the water tank to remove any nauseating deposits of lime and sand. Remember to close the drain valve.
  • If you haven't done so before winterizing your motorhome, disinfect the water tank with bleach and rinse several times.
  • The water heater is equipped with a drain. Don't forget to check the special drain valve.
  • To reconnect your motorhome's battery, simply insert the ignition key and turn it to MAR; the vehicle can then be started normally. It may sometimes be necessary to reset certain electrical devices such as the time, date, etc...
  • Finally, before setting off, remember to check the condition of your tires.
